Brief info

Joseph Polk is currently an Educational Technology Specialist with the Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University. He is also the owner of Thirteen Ball, a web development and social media consulting firm he founded in 2013.

As an active volunteer and community leader in the Pittsburgh region, Joe serves as a member of the Alumni Board of Governors for Duquesne University as well as a technical advisor and previous board member of the Historical Society of Mt. Lebanon. He previously served as the 2nd Vice President for Outreach Teen & Family Services as well as the Board of Trustees of the Knights of Columbus, Regis J. Sheehan Memorial Council.

Joe has spent many years of service with Boy Scouts of America, serving as the Cubmaster of Pack 38 in Mt. Lebanon since 2013; as Assistant Scoutmaster with Troop 238 in Mt. Lebanon since 2019; and as Council Communications Chair for the Laurel Highlands Council. Additionally, he was a volunteer firefighter with the Mt. Lebanon Fire Department for over 26 years. Born and raised in Mt. Lebanon, Joe has three children, Christian, Emily and Henry.
