Professor Emeritus of the University of Havana. Born in Havana Cuba. Graduated in Economics from the University of Havana. She earned a PhD in Economics at the University of Budapest, Hungary. Lourdes became Head of the Macro-Microeconomics Department then advanced to the position of Vice-President of the University of Havana. She also served as Director of the Center for Public Administration Studies. Lourdes joined Pittsburgh-Matanzas Sister Cities in 2015.
